A Solution with Staying Power

With MarketVu II, ACNielsen can produce executive reports in half the time as before, and turnaround special requests in an hour instead of several days. Accuracy is much improved and easy integration with Microsoft Office software means reports look more professional and can be custom designed for each client.
Although still in the rollout stage, MarketVu II is already reaping significant benefits for ACNielsen, according to Dittrich. Faster turnaround is bringing in more business and allowing the company to offer the kind of products that keep customers coming back.
"Our biggest client is demanding much faster turnaround times than ever before and our sales force has presented some new product offerings with the required speed," Dittrich says. "These products would not have even been possible using the old systems. MarketVu II will allow us to retain and possibly continue to grow this multi-million dollar client account." The company's second largest client was so satisfied with quality and response time it gave ACNielsen much more business .
MarketVu II's modular structure means that it is easy to add new capabilities, such as a planned new service allowing clients to access project data via the web. In addition, MarketVu II can be used from remote sites, an impossibility with the old system. MarketVu II's core structure is flexible enough to meet ACNielsen's evolving needs for an estimated seven to ten years. "We feel that we have put in place the core architecture of a system that will continually grow and evolve for many years to come," Dittrich says. "The beauty is that we are confident that it is built in a way that will allow this to occur in a controlled and maintainable manner."
